Biography

Jeff has worked at Sandia National Labs since 2022 and he is currently a member of technical staff in the Software Engineering & Research group. He does a variety of work in this space, including CI/CD work, software development, Git repository work & maintenance, website maintenance, third-party library and module management, operations and management. Prior to working at Sandia he worked as a research assistant at the University of New Mexico hospital in the realm of software development & machine learning. Before pursuing a career in computer science he worked in the banking sector at a local credit union. His current research interests include high-performance computing, machine learning, computer vision and software development.

Education

Jeff earned a masters degree in computer science from the University of New Mexico in 2021. He earned his B.S. degree in computer science in 2018 from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He also earned a B.S. degree in Finance from Western Carolina University in 2014.
